seeing as it's the bank holiday weekend, my dad might be taking a long weekend up scotland and giving me a lift, easier than getting a train then a van (sorry gav and mick, i will be camping with you guys though), that means that if i do get a lift, i can take my big 4 man man tent with a LARGE communal living area for us to use so that if we use a camp site, we can split the cost.

Update:
Just had the news broken to me that i cannot have the holidays
not happy. so i will see if i can drive up during the weekend & drive back during the weekend instead.

Someone in our tiny team has handed his notice in so we dont have the manpower for me to take the time off

i'm not totally sure if i'm getting a lift yet, if there's room in the car though (it's a people carrier) we could pick you up in leeds or something. I thought you had someone else going up with you anyway?

I 'may' be coming along to this (as a mate of fazerboy) - need to check with work first though.

So what's the situation with the camping? (is it camping rough? or at the paddock of the B&B? or...? )

Sam... as you see in the above post,as i was stuck car wise, i contacted steve (again)about going and as your not 100% sure how your getting there and steves not 100% sure hes going yet,and im the only one 100% sure im going but i aint got a clue how or who with,its all a bit of a mess innit lol
so ive been told i can use the gf car(allthough i rather wouldnt,it is hers after all) im going to wait upon im told 100% who is going,how,when and if theres space befor i take up the gf's offer..hope ive made my position clear...cos i aint got a clue lol

Try Enterprise for car hire, usually well cheap for 3 day hires friday to monday.

Yeh thats what i'm hoping for but it's a least 3 months before they are up to speed with production & QC. so they need to get someone yesterday really.
