;D

I think there was more bike kicking than helmet throwing.

When Mike asked for epicness I was expecting some very long knackering natural ride ... not sure if a trail centre can ever count as epic!

I'm pretty sure that doing Kirroughtree with dual ply slow reazy tyres might be classed as epic. But surely nobody would be stupid enough to do that.

I big natural ride would be good but dalbettie is not bad. Although it does have a fair bit of fire road.

Had a good look at maps, not finding much apart from dull doubletrack.

Anything high up will be snow bound.

I will probably be at Drumlanrig this weekend at some point, when is it you are thinking about going?

If its next weekend I will put up a trail report to give you an idea of conditions over there, might also come along if I dont have the kids next weekend.

Mike, will a trail center do ya?

Dave, would be good to see you. Wouldn't mind a go of your anthem if possible?

Can I highjack this thread and ask what people's plans are for Sunday?

A reliable trail centre would suit me perfectly. Happy with either Drumlanrig, Dalbeattie or Mabie as long as they're not iced over like GT.

In fact, I should be the owner of a diesel car from tomorrow morning, so wouldn't rule out Kirroughtree either.

Its in for an overhaul at the moment - New shock bushings, swing arm bearings, front brake being fixed, wheels trued, replacement chainrings, new chain, new pads front and rear. I will bring it out sometime when we are going on a ride together though.

Will be out on my hardtail this weekend - Drumlanrig was made for hardtails :-).

I still dont know when I will actually be there, mega busy weekend unfortunately

Edit - Was just thinking that if you are looking to buy one soon we could arrange a meet somewhere soon - I should be getting it back on Thursday next week.

Looking like my riding time will be knocked on the head again, turns out it's not enough that I've been working two hours overtime every night plus all day Saturday for the past fortnight, I'm working this Saturday and probs working Sunday 'till bout dinner time :( I've got a train to Milton Keynes to catch on Sunday night :(

If I'm not working Sunday I might try to get out for a quick blast but I aint sure yet!

I can't make tomorrow but will be out Sunday.

As long as I get back in enough time to cook a romantic Valentine's day dinner, I'd be up for anywhere.
